How much do you charge for lessons?
My rates are:
- 30 minutes: $32
- 45 minutes: $47
- 60 minutes: $64
What do I need to bring to my first lesson?
- Guitar, Bass, & Ukulele: Please bring your instrument and a tuner. A capo is highly recommended for guitarists.
- Drums: Just bring your favorite pair of drum sticks.
If you don’t have a guitar yet, don’t worry—I offer affordable guitar rentals for $25/month so you can try it out before you buy.
Do you teach beginners?
Yes, I welcome students of all levels, from beginners to advanced players. I am patient and encouraging, and I will take the time to make sure that you understand the basics.
Do you teach experienced players?
Yes, I also teach experienced players who are looking to improve their skills. I can help you with everything from technique to improvisation.
What kind of music do you teach?
I am experienced in teaching a wide variety of musical styles, including:
- Rock, Pop, and Blues
- Country and Jazz
- Classical
I am also open to teaching students who are interested in learning specific genres or artists.
How often should I take lessons?
I recommend taking lessons once per week for consistent progress. However, you can take lessons more or less often depending on your schedule and goals.
Do you offer online lessons?
Yes, for Guitar, Bass, and Ukulele, I offer a hybrid approach. You can do in-person lessons at the studio, or switch to online via Zoom whenever you need—perfect for snow days, minor illnesses, or busy weeks.
Drums: To ensure the best learning experience, all drum lessons are in-person only at my Greeley studio. (I provide the kits, so you just need to bring your sticks!)
