Student Successes
Karney teaches a diverse range of students, from absolute beginners to aspiring professionals. He meets every student where they are to help them reach their personal goals, but his students often go on to achieve incredible things:
- Scholarships and Auditions: Students have successfully auditioned for solo seats in high school ensembles and won scholarships to competitive college jazz bands.
- Professional Readiness: A few of his students have even gone on to open for nationally touring acts like the country band Restless Heart and the rock band The Fray.
Enjoy What You’re Doing
Karney’s commitment is simple: helping students grow while making learning a fun and engaging experience.
The key to student success is genuine inspiration. When students enjoy the process and gain confidence through the skills they develop, practicing becomes something they look forward to, not a chore.
Karney offers comprehensive music lessons—including guitar, bass, ukulele, and drums—in Greeley, Colorado, and online for ages 6 and up.
