By combining years of professional teaching with a career on stage, the studio offers students practical, real-world musical knowledge. Whether teaching a beginner their first chord or helping an advanced student refine their skills, Karney makes sure the learning process is approachable and fun.

Education and Curriculum Expertise
He brings a deep academic background to the studio, having taught at Colorado State University and Aims Community College, as well as working closely with students across the Greeley, Loveland, and Fort Collins school districts.
Professional Performance
Karney has opened for major national acts including Eddie Money, Night Ranger, and Quiet Riot. He has also shared the stage with members of Firefall, bringing the benefit of his professional career directly to his students.

Student Successes
Karney teaches a diverse range of students, from absolute beginners to aspiring professionals . By providing tailored instruction for every age and skill level, he helps students turn their personal goals into reality—and many go on to achieve incredible things:
- Scholarships and Auditions: Students have successfully auditioned for solo seats in high school ensembles and won scholarships to competitive college jazz bands.
- Professional Readiness: A few of his students have even gone on to open for nationally touring acts like the country band Restless Heart and the rock band The Fray.
