The Dreams Unwind Road Trip
The best music is made where the rubber meets the road. Right now, there is a certain restless energy humming in the studio with our band. We’ve been staring at maps, checking calendars, and fueling up on way too much coffee as we entertain the possibility of a late-summer tour.
We’re calling it the Rumours Road Itinerary. Is it a done deal? Not quite yet. There are a lot of moving parts—logistics, gear, and life—that need to align to make this swing through the Midwest a reality. But the vision is there, and it’s a journey we’re dying to take. We wanted to pull back the curtain and show you exactly what we’re aiming for this August.
The Visionary Route
The plan kicks off on August 9th in North Platte, NE, for a Sunday Concert Series before weaving through the heart of Nebraska’s fair season. From Kearney to Grand Island, we’re looking to bring that NoCo sound to the community stages that make summer in the Midwest so special.
From there, the miles start adding up as we head east. We’re eyeing a kickoff evening at the iconic Iowa State Fair in Des Moines on the 12th, followed by a stop at the legendary Sweet Corn Festival in West Point.
The Destination: Larry Fest
The North Star of this entire trip is Wisconsin. If everything falls into place, we’ll be heading toward Hillsboro for Larry Fest. For those who know, this is more than just a gig; it’s a destination. Ending a week-long trek in the rolling hills of Wisconsin sounds like the perfect way to wrap up the summer of 2026.
Will We Swing It?
Touring is a leap of faith, and we’re currently mid-air. Whether this remains a beautiful what-if or becomes the highlight of our year depends on the next few weeks of planning.
Keep an eye on our blogs. We’ll be making the final call soon. In the meantime, let us know in the comments. Also, check out my other website.
